A customer comes in through your website, a link you send them, or you paste an existing enquiry in yourself. Iskal starts a smart chat, asks the right trade-specific questions, and collects everything you need to price the job — including photos and documents. The job lands in your dashboard already organised, with a draft quote ready to review. No chasing, no phone tag before you can even start.
Yes. If you spot a job on a marketplace like Checkatrade, you can copy the listing and paste it straight into Iskal. It reads the details, builds a draft quote, and can have a professional offer in the customer’s inbox within minutes — without starting from scratch.
BOQ stands for Bill of Quantities. It’s your internal costing sheet — every product, labour hour, and cost laid out so you can see exactly what the job will cost you. The customer never sees this. Instead, Iskal generates a customer offer from your BOQ and you control exactly how it looks. You can choose to show individual line items or group them into broader packages, and you decide whether to show the price for each item or keep it out of the offer entirely. So if you’d rather the customer sees “Full installation — £4,800” instead of every line broken out, that’s your call.
Yes. Every line in the quote can be written in or overwritten. Iskal never forces you to choose a particular product or supplier — you’re always free to put in what you actually use. If your regular supplier isn’t in the system yet, you can flag them to us and we’re happy to consider adding them.
Yes. You get 10 free quotes — no credit card needed. That’s enough to run it across some real jobs and see whether it works for you. After your 10 you’ll need to sign up to keep going.
Not always. Customers can ask questions about the quote directly through the platform. Iskal reads the job and quote details and handles the routine ones — what’s included, how the pricing works, what the products are. You can step in whenever you want, but the back-and-forth doesn’t have to land on you every time.
